Today Jake decided he was over the swaddling that babies are supposed to love so much (see "Baby Burrito" - first photo. The proper way for babies to sleep)... I noticed that every time I put him down like this he grunts and whines until both hands and at least one foot are all free. Not the best for peaceful sleep.
Here is his preferred method of sleep. Notice both arms flung out as far as they can go as well as his knees off to each side. I had to invest in a few sleep sacks to use as blankets so he can stay warm in the crib.
